About the Author

Award-winning children’s author, Debbie Roppolo, grew up in the Blackland Prairie region of Texas, where she strengthened her imagination by having adventures with her horses and other farm animals. Their escapades served as writing fodder for later years. She had to do something with those memories; having tea parties with chickens was too good to keep to herself.

She has written for several Chicken Soup books in addition to various magazines and newspapers. Debbie’s children’s book titles include: Amelia Frump and her Peanut Butter-Loving, Overactive Imagination; Amelia Frump…is Cooking Up a Peanut Butter Storm (award-winning activity/cookbook); He’s My Brother (award-winner); and Amelia Frump and the Cajillion-Million Dollar Adventure.
Cooking is her second passion and Debbie holds the honor of being a seven-time award-winning baker. And what is her favorite ingredient to use? Peanut butter, of course!

Married for over twenty-eight years, she resides in the Texas Hill Country with her husband. Currently, she is the zookeeper of two dogs, several chickens, the occasional toad who visits her porch, and a couple of sons.

Heart-Soul-Mind Article: The Cost of Humanity

About the Author: Erin Winters grew up in Raleigh, NC and currently resides in Lynchburg, VA with her husband and son. When she was little, she wrote many stories she would likely be appalled to rediscover now, and wanted to be an author around the same time she wanted to be a dolphin trainer. Neither panned out at first, but Erin started writing on the side in August 2017.

She started training in the Israeli martial art of Krav Maga around the same time, and enjoys putting bits and pieces from those experiences into her books. Erin also loves steak and potatoes, board games, and curling up in fuzzy socks with a cup of hot chocolate.
