“That which has been is that which will be, And that which has been done is that which will be done. So there is nothing new under the sun” (Ecclesiastes 1:9, NASB). 

During the Medieval period the Church was the ultimate ruler. Legitimate political leaders were crowned and blessed by the Pope, and the Church determined what could be thought and taught. This rulership of thought did not just include the venue of God and the spiritual, but every avenue of life. The Church established the official narrative, what was allowed to be said and taught, and what was heretical. The Pope and the Cardinals established what could be thought; and the bishops, pastors (Fathers), deacons, monks, … were the fact checkers of the age.

Heretics, like Galileo Galilei, who didn’t follow the science and said heretical things, were forced to live under house arrest, banned from the platforms of the day to prevent them from spreading their dangerous misinformation. In the case of Galileo, he taught the perilous concept that the earth revolves around the sun, and for that he was attacked by the establishment, considered a danger to society, and in the ways of his day, was cancelled and deplatformed. Galileo was just one of many who fell under the assault of the Inquisition of the Church for teaching heretical beliefs that, it turns out, were true. 

The Inquisition was the independent fact checkers of the medieval era, and just like today, there was nothing independent about it, and it never really had any interest in checking facts. Its job was to foster the official narrative of the church at all costs and to deplatform and cancel all who would not cave to the pressures of the mainstream religio-pubic enterprise.

Solomon was right when he said, “That which has been is that which will be, And that which has been done is that which will be done. So there is nothing new under the sun” (Ecclesiastes 1:9, NASB). Indeed, there is nothing new under the sun.

The world is on the verge of a second Dark Age, driven by a new religion and a new faith. The religion of the modern world is Science. Not science as it should be, not science driven by its fundamental principles of honest, open debate and peer reviewed and challenged discovery of facts. Not science that lets the data and observations reveal what is going on, but a science that starts from a religious, faith stance, predefines the answer, and then seeks out data to prove its preconceived notion is right. This new Science religion bans data that does support its view, tells the data it does have what to say instead of letting the data speak for itself.

This new Science religion is born of public-private partnerships in which government and corporations partner together to take the place of the government and church of the medieval period. Why do they do this? Well, there is nothing new under the sun. Wealth, power, prestige, and the worship of the masses drive them.

This new Science religion is like its predecessors. 

It has its High Priest, its Pope; presently he is Fauci the First. 

It has its cathedrals and temples; they are known as Harvard, The University of California, etc.

It has its Inquisition; known as Independent Fact Checkers, Community Rules of Conduct, etc. 

It has its priesthood: Dr. Scientists, Dr. Engineer, or those called experts. 

It is infallible, far more infallible than the Pope. 

It uses the power of the state to enforce its will; and it burns at the stake all who challenge its established narrative. Speak differently on masks, vaccines, climate change, the number of genders, …; and you will burn at the stake and be crucified upon every societal platform at its disposal. It will destroy you, as it destroyed Jan Hus, Galileo Galilei, … 

“Do not defy me,” it says, “for I am ‘GOD’, I am, the I am, and you will pay for your insolence.”

But there is nothing new under the sun. 

The true I AM destroys the wicked and uplifts the righteous. Those proven to be right and lofted as heroes by subsequent generations are not those who bowed the knee to Baal, but those who stood true to the only Truth. Those destined for the crown in heaven stand firm in the face of evil and know that the truth will never fall before views that are illegitimate. It can stand the fire of “false” information.

Why write this article? What should one take away? The main point is to understand what is happening in the world. A new religion has taken hold of the seats of power. This religion doesn’t hide behind Christ and God and use them as a cover for its iniquities, but it does use the values God has written on our hearts such as love of others, compassion, … to bring the perception of legitimacy to its ideas and crush all opposition. Remember, if you opposed masks in the beginning, you were selfish and cared not for others. Yet after two years, even the CDC had to admit they were not effective.

Science has become a religious affiliation, and because of it, it has become corrupt. Medieval Christianity stopped being a faith and became a religious affiliation, and because of this change, it was corrupted. Science is good when done as intended. Christianity is the Ultimate Good, when done as intended. But both, when taken over by men consumed with their own godhood and lust for power, wealth, and prestige become very bad institutions that are used to inflict terrible evil. 

Never trust those who say, “trust me.” 

Never trust those who say, “Trust the Science.” 

Never trust those who say, “The news you can trust.” 

If they were truly trustworthy, their words would stand on their own and they wouldn’t need to say, “trust me.” Only evil feels the need to squash open debate and views it doesn’t like. Only religious zealots need to squash contrary views to their own in order to be able to stand firm in their faith. God does not fear false gods. They cannot harm him. False information can’t harm the truth no matter how much it is proclaimed.

A new religion is attempting to control the world and destroy all forces that oppose it. In truth it’s a very old religion; its lord offered Eve an apple a very long time ago. Christian, this is a time of great adversity, so rejoice! For you have been asked to join Paul in fulfilling what is lacking in the suffering of Christ. Life is adversity and hardship as well as joy and happiness. Dead are those who know not adversity, death is the possession of those who know not pain. Your battle is not against flesh and blood, but of power and principality in the heavenlies that seeks total power and the worship of the world. It seeks to unseat God and place itself upon a throne higher than His. Its end is destruction, its fate is to burn and weep and gnash its teeth for all eternity. Stand firm, and fear only Him who can destroy the soul.
