First, I want to thank everyone who has taken the time to click on and read any of the articles we’ve posted, or has had enough interest to browse our site.

2025 was quite the year for our little blog. I first had the idea to start one in 2018 after John and I had gone through a particularly challenging period. Although I’d been dipping my toes into the writing/publishing world, I hadn’t yet published a book in my name. Rather than create a website in my name, as many experienced professionals recommend, I talked to John about creating one that was for the two of us so we could both have a place to write and share what God was teaching us. I posted my first article on January 24, 2019. It was a small, welcome-to-this-site post that shared our purpose and what we hoped to accomplish with the new venture. Our desire then, and now, has been to create content that helps people grow closer in their relationship with Yahweh and in godly relationships with each other.

That first month, our website garnered a grand total of 155 views, only a fraction of those clicks being on the two articles I posted. From 2019-2024, we averaged less than 4,000 views per year.

And then 2025 hit. For reasons neither of us can explain, heart-soul-mind.org began to draw significantly more visitors. Our slowest months gathered more than 600 views. An article John wrote in 2023, Easter or Resurrection Sunday? Does it Matter?, began to receive tens, then hundreds, then thousands of reads. Our site rose in the Google rankings. December arrived, and the International Princesses took over. This collection of short biographies I’d written as supplemental material for my book, An International Princess Alphabet Primer, started collecting hundreds of views per day. By the end of the year, 2025 had received nearly ten times our yearly average.
